    Registrar / Chief Executive Officer

    Description

    • The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the Institute.
    • The Registrar is also the Secretary to the Governing Council.

    Requirements

    • A good First Degree in Chemistry with minimum of Second-Class Lower Division from a recognized Institution with not less than twenty (20) years post-qualification cognate experience, Postgraduate qualification(s) will be an added advantage
    • Candidates exceeding 55 years of age as at the time of this advertisement need not to apply Experience in related Public Administration would be an advantage.
    • Must be Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria (ICCON) financial member
    • Must have attended at least 5 MCPDs in the last 10 years.
    • He/She must not be the spouse of a staff
    • Three (3) Referees (financially up-to-date) reports
    • Understanding of applications of information technology with computer applications.
    • Compliance with all other requirements as stipulated in the ICCON Act and relevant Government guidelines.

    Renumeration

    • Conditions of service as obtainable in the Public Service.

    Tenure:

    • The successful candidate (Registrar) shall hold office for 4 years and the tenure may be renewed for another 4 years after a satisfactory performance.
