Recruitment Specialist at HRLeverage Africa

Job Summary

• HRLeverage Africa is seeking a results-driven and experienced Recruitment Specialist to manage end-to-end recruitment activities for clients across various industries.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing qualified candidates while ensuring recruitment targets and client expectations are consistently met.
• The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced recruitment environment and demonstrate strong sourcing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from job requisition to candidate placement.
• Work closely with clients and hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and job requirements.
• Source qualified candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, databases, and other recruitment channels.
• Screen CVs and conduct preliminary interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and suitability.
• Shortlist qualified candidates and coordinate interviews with clients and hiring managers.
• Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Ensure timely closure of assigned job vacancies and achievement of recruitment targets.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future vacancies.
• Prepare and post engaging job advertisements across relevant recruitment platforms.
• Maintain accurate recruitment trackers, candidate records, and recruitment reports.
• Provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders on recruitment progress.
• Support successful candidates through offer acceptance and onboarding processes.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Stay updated on recruitment trends, sourcing strategies, and labour market developments.
• Carry out other recruitment-related responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or agency recruitment.
• Experience managing multiple job vacancies simultaneously.
• Proven experience in sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, social media, referrals, and other channels.
• Experience in recruitment consulting or a staffing agency will be an added advantage.
• Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, or CIPD will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
