Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
Manage media relations, including press engagement, interviews, and reputation management.
Oversee creation of PR content such as press releases, speeches, presentations, and official statements.
Plan, coordinate, and execute high-impact corporate events and public engagements.
Lead crisis communication and issues management to protect and enhance brand reputation.
Build, manage, and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders across government, corporate, political, oil & gas, hospitality, and social sectors.
Supervise and mentor the PR team, ensuring effective execution and performance.
Monitor public sentiment, media coverage, and industry trends to inform strategy.
Represent the organization with confidence, leadership presence, and professionalism at public forums.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Public Relations or Corporate Communications, with at least 3 years in a people-management role.
Proven track record in developing and implementing successful PR strategies.
Strong professional network across multiple industries, particularly government, corporate, political, oil & gas, and hospitality.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong leadership presence.
High level of stakeholder management and relationship-building capability.
Personality profile: highly outgoing and confident (60%+ extroverted), intelligent, agile, vibrant, and humble.
Bold, visionary, and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
Must reside on the Lagos Mainland and be willing to travel as required.
