    Project and Program Senior Associate

    Responsibilities

    PLANNING

    • Develop project plan/task lists using an appropriate planning tool, across a number of functional teams working with information and direction obtained from more experienced colleagues on tasks and activities.

    STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

    • Awareness of key stakeholders across functional areas and is able to map out stakeholder listsWith guidance able to identify the needs of stakeholders to keep them informed.

    COMMUNICATION

    • Communicates with a broader group of stakeholders beyond the project team using communication tools and templates.

    RISK MANAGEMENT

    • · Captures a list of project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies for the various projects.· Required support to manage risks effectively.

    PROJECT / PROGRAM DELIVERY

    • Develops and delivers projects for the functional team, and support on cross functional projects.

    RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (PEOPLE, FINANCES, ETC.)

    • Produces schedules of activities based on peoples availability and able to identify problems which may require escalation.

    CUSTOMER CARE

    • Manages mid-level complexity customer deployments.· Creates and communicates with customers simple project plans for standard project milestones.· Has a general technical knowledge of Equinix products/processes.· Manages project activities of cross-functional groups to ensure commitments are met· Handles mid-level escalations independently.· Resolves standard issues independently (complex with manager assistance)

    EMEA BUSINESS OPERATIONS PMO ROLE

    • Provide administration support to Projects, Programs and PMO function· Produces metrics through research and analysis on the performance of projects or programs to inform business cases or PMO evolution

    Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
    • Understanding of Project Management tools.
    • Relevant certifications (e.gPMP, Scrum Master, etc) are a plus.

    Demands of the Job

    • May work longer hours and on weekends.
    • May travel frequently out of Lagos.
