Procurement Executive at Golden Oil Industries Limited

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Executive to manage the sourcing and purchasing of engineering parts and components. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating competitive terms, and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials to support our engineering and maintenance operations.

Job Summary

• To procure the Engg Material, MS Pipes fittings, consumables, electrical material, mechanicals items, IT items 
• To interact with suppliers on constant basis and ensure best possible procurement deals for the business.
• To track the purchase order and ensure the on time delivery. 
• To Create the Material code vendor code in the systema prepare PR and PO in the system.

Job Details

• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team. 
• Duties include the following, measurable in terms of time, cost, quality or quantity.

Day to Day Management

• To be in continuous follow-up with various suppliers and ensure Material delivery as per the time line .
• To do regular communication suppliers and ensure that we are the buyers of choice for most of the suppliers.
• To ensure all transactions and trades are carried as per the policy and guidelines issued by company.
• To coordinate with transport, drivers and loading, offloading team and ensure minimum time loss.
• To identify new suppliers to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• To communicate within departments for planning, administrative and other general management issues, which will include the day to day operations.

Supply Chain & Logistics Targets

• To ensure all the procurement to be carried out at best price and with the best quality.
• Create the supplier base and find more suppliers for the items 
• To prepare various reports and submit periodic update to the concerned authority on fast moving, slow moving, nonmoving Items in the system.

Reporting - To prepare all applicable reports in time for accuracy and in order to ensure that they match the functional requirements, policies and standards.

Requirements

• Any Bachelors / Masters Degree.
• Experience of minimum 4 years in procurement Engineering Items and other material 
• Well versed with MS Excel.
• Verse with ERP will be added advantage
• As per the need of the business the job is transferrable and posting can be made anywhere in Nigeria/West Africa.
