Job Description

• Come join Arnergy’s team and help improve distributed energy reliability to businesses and homes in Nigeria. As our Pr, Event & Branding Intern, you will work with the Marketing team on the creation of content across all owned and paid media and for all events (owned conferences and external conferences, exhibitions, webinars, public relations, media relations, Brand management, Branded promotional items etc writing articles, long-form opinion pieces, scripts, press releases, creating ad content and related marketing materials, sourcing and researching trending topics, as well brainstorming with other team members, create concepts, develop messaging, maintain goodwill, thought leadership, and understanding between our brand and its target audience.

You’ll Focus on:

• Writing clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice
• Interpreting copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
• Collaborating with designers, PR and other professionals and teams on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. website)
• Prepare and monitor the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs and films
• Conducting high-quality research for blog posts
• Writing blogs, articles, and press releases
• Source promotional items and execute the purchasing and branding process from vendors, getting samples and approvals
• Handle event preparations, branding and ensure the brand is well featured with brand logos, roll up banners, stage banners, event flyers, marketing materials etc
• Generating great creative campaign ideas, participating in brainstorming sessions
• Repurposing content for different mediums and channels including video
• Editing and proofreading copy and documents as needed
• Monitor the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites, and blogs, for opportunities for the brand
• Using SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
• Creating weekly or monthly reports
• Other Adhoc tasks assigned
