    Social Media Manager

    The Role

    We're seeking a creative and data-driven Social Media Manager to build our brand presence, drive customer acquisition, and support our growing vendor community through strategic social media marketing.

    Key Responsibilities

    Brand Building & Content Creation

    • Develop and execute social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp
    • Create engaging content showcasing products, vendors, promotions, and customer testimonials
    • Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms
    • Design graphics and short videos optimized for each platform

    Customer Acquisition & Engagement

    • Drive traffic to julinemart.com through compelling campaigns and offers
    • Respond to customer inquiries and comments within 2 hours during business hours
    • Create promotional campaigns for sales events, new vendor launches, and seasonal offerings
    • Build and nurture online community of engaged shoppers

    Vendor Support & B2B Marketing

    • Highlight vendor success stories and featured products
    • Create content that attracts quality vendors to join the platform
    • Support vendor onboarding through educational content about the marketplace

    Performance & Analytics

    • Track and report on key metrics: follower growth, engagement rate, website traffic, conversion
    • Manage paid social advertising budget efficiently
    • Test and optimize content based on performance data
    • Provide weekly reports on campaigns and results

    Requirements

    Essential

    • 1-3 years experience in social media marketing, preferably in e-commerce or retail
    • Proven track record of driving sales/conversions through social media
    • Strong graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar)
    • Basic video editing capabilities
    • Excellent written English and understanding of Nigerian audience preferences
    • Experience with Facebook/Instagram Ads Manager
    • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret social media metrics
    • Good use of AI tools

    Preferred

    • Experience with marketplace or multi-vendor platforms
    • Knowledge of e-commerce tools and platforms
    • Photography skills
    • Experience with influencer partnerships
    • Familiarity with logistics/delivery services in Nigeria
