    Plant HR Business Partner

    Job Summary

    The Plant HR Business Partner will lead the delivery of end-to-end HR solutions at the plant level, ensuring alignment with corporate HR strategies while addressing the unique demands of plant operations. The role is responsible for workforce optimisation, performance management, employee engagement, industrial relations, and compliance with labour laws and company policies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Act as a strategic HR partner to Plant Management, providing guidance on workforce planning, organisational design, and people strategy.
    • Drive the implementation of HR policies, frameworks, and programs in alignment with corporate HR directives.
    • Support plant operations through effective manpower planning, recruitment, and deployment of skilled talent.
    • Manage employee relations and industrial relations issues, ensuring compliance with labour regulations.
    • Lead performance management processes including goal setting and reviews.
    • Oversee learning and development interventions.
    • Monitor HR metrics and analytics to improve productivity.
    • Ensure compliance with statutory labour laws and HR governance standards.
    • Drive change management initiatives.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 15 years progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years at Head of Department level.
    • Plant or manufacturing operations experience is required.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or any of the Social Sciences disciplines.
    • Additional degree/qualification in Engineering or any related field is an added advantage,
    • Must be a Chartered HR practitioner (CIPMN/SHRM/CIPD).

    Skills and Competencies

    • Strong knowledge of HR in manufacturing environments.
    • Expertise in industrial relations and labour laws.
    • Leadership and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • High integrity and professionalism.
