    Performance Management Specialist

    Job Objective

    • The purpose of the Performance Management Specialist role is to support consistency and transparency across the department through a cohesive performance management strategy and robust governance.
    • The Performance Management Specialist will enable delivery of benchmark strategy and transparency through a holistic performance management framework and scorecard.
    • Key relationships include collaboration with functional heads, CEO and other teams to manage operational and performance-related nuances among different divisions to ensure successful implementation and management of the program.

    Responsibilities / Accountabilities

    • Assist in the development of organizational strategies and objectives and transcription to corporate scorecard.
    • Effectively cascade the organizational objects to business units and individuals, ensuring alignment in order to drive business performance.
    • Develop the strategic and operational plan for the system of performance appraisal, training and career development.
    • Develop realistic and measurable performance and (KPIs) for each function within the organization.
    • Develop performance measurement scorecards for jobs by reviewing and studying and developing performance and target standards for each standard in line with the strategic objectives of management.
    • In liaison with the Compensation and Benefits officer, contribute to the design, implementation and management of effective Recognition Programs to reward staff contributions.
    • Design, implement and manage organization-wide performance training/capacity building for all levels of employees and management to drive for positive and measurable impact on the culture and performance of the organization
    • Work with Human Resources Information System and Corporate Information Technology Services to ensure the development, enhancement or acquisition of the Information Technology tools needed to support the performance management activities.
    • Collaborate and advice on the design of Human Resources Information System infrastructure required to support an organization-wide performance system; ensuring that needed data is collected on a timely basis, regular reports on progress are distributed and recommendations are made for future improvements, based on the data.
    • Drive organization-wide processes for sharing best practice, tools/materials and on-going communication activities for performance improvement. In line with this, establish and disseminate guidelines and manuals which will serve as reference documents on staff performance management for appraises as well as appraisers.
    • In liaison with the Human Resources Business Partners, support the development and implementation of monitoring systems for complex or departmental performance indicators and standards, including ensuring data quality and compliance with internal and external performance measurement requirements.
    • Coordinate with line managers for the implementation by the Human Resources Management department and managers of consequences related to performance evaluation results, e.g. performance pay, Performance Improvement Plans, responses to requests for revision of the evaluation, reward and recognition activities, learning and development activities, etc.
    • Oversee the implementation of key performance measures, core competencies and core values into performance appraisal system

    Job Requirements
    You're a great match for this role if you have some of the following:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
    • More education or experience may be preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years progressive experience within any of the following industries with a large organization: Telecoms, Management Consulting Fin Tech, FMCG or Technology Consulting with high level experience in change management interventions
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in supervising/managing others.
    • Special HR certification may be required.
    • Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
    • Ethical behavior.
    • Attention to detail.
