Parent Stock Production Officer at Chi Farms Ltd.

JOB SUMMARY:

• TO supervise and coordinate the work Of farm attendants and ensure farm activities are carried out efficiently in compliance with established standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee daily operations Of poultry production, including feeding, drinkers and health management
• Conduct regular inspections Of poultry housing facilities to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance.
• Ensure proper housing conditions and manage the environment to optimize growth and productivity.
• Track and analyze production metrics such as feed conversion ratios and egg production performance.
• Implement and enforce biosecurity measures to prevent the spread Of diseases.
• Monitor and analyze poultry health, including early detection and reporting to the Veterinarian.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations relating to poultry production and animal welfare.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• HND or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or related field.
• Proven experience in farm management and coordination.
• 3-5 years of proven work experience, preferably in a similar role.
• Knowledge of modern poultry practice
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in data entry.
