    Operations Manager

    Job Summary

    • Operations Manager oversees daily business activities, focusing on optimizing processes, improving productivity, and ensuring efficiency across departments.
    • They are responsible for supply chain management, budgeting, staffing, and compliance with company policies to meet strategic goals.
    • Key duties include enhancing performance, reducing costs, and facilitating communication between teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
    • Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
    • Process Optimization: Improve operational systems, procedures, and best practices to maximize efficiency and output.
    • Daily Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth, high-quality production of goods or services.
    • Financial & Budget Control: Monitor and control costs, manage budgets, and analyze financial data to improve profitability.
    • Supply Chain & Logistics: Manage procurement, inventory levels, and logistics to ensure timely delivery.
    • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, supervise, and support staff to achieve performance targets.
    • Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, legal requirements, and company policies.
    • Strategic Planning: Support senior management by developing and implementing strategic initiatives to meet company objectives.

    Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
    • Budget variance.
    • Inventory turnover rate.
    • Customer satisfaction scores.
    • Operational cost reduction.

    Key Skills & Qualifications

    • Education: Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
    • Experience: Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role.
    • Leadership: Strong team management and mentoring abilities.
    • Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset for troubleshooting and process improvement.
    • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
    • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with business management software, data analysis, and KPIs.
