Open Market Sales Representative at J3 Foods and Stores International

Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation:

• Sell company products directly in open markets to retailers, wholesalers, and end-users.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Identify new sales opportunities and convert prospects into active buyers.

Market Penetration & Coverage:

• Ensure full coverage of assigned markets, routes, and territories.
• Introduce new products and encourage adoption by retailers.
• Expand customer base by opening new sales accounts.

Merchandising & Product Visibility:

• Ensure proper display and visibility of products at customer locations.
• Monitor competitor products, pricing, and promotions in open markets.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and market stakeholders.
• Collect and relay customer feedback to the sales team.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.

Inventory & Cash Management:

• Manage stock effectively to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Ensure accurate remittance of daily sales proceeds.
• Maintain proper documentation for product transfers, sales returns, and balances.

Reporting:

• Provide daily/weekly sales reports, route coverage, and customer updates.
• Update management on market trends and competitor activities.
