    Marketing & Sales Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Marketing Officer will be responsible for driving product visibility, sales growth, and customer engagement for the company’s spice products.
    • She will design and implement sales strategies, identify market opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and promote brand awareness across retail, wholesale, and distribution channels.

    Key Responsibilities
    Sales & Business Development:

    • Promote and sell spice products to wholesalers, retailers, supermarkets, food processors, restaurants, hotels, and end users.
    • Identify new markets, distributors, and partnership opportunities for business expansion.
    • Carry out market research to understand customer preferences, industry trends, and competitor positioning.
    • Execute field sales visits, product presentations, and demonstrations.

    Marketing & Brand Promotion;

    • Develop marketing campaigns to increase product awareness and drive sales.
    • Represent the brand at trade fairs, market activations, promotions, industry events, and exhibitions.
    • Create marketing content for physical and digital platforms (flyers, social media, newsletters, etc.).
    • Gather customer feedback for product improvement.

    Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and business partners.
    • Provide after-sales support and ensure high customer satisfaction.
    • Maintain an updated customer database and sales pipeline reports.

    Reporting & Administrative Duties:

    • Achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets.
    • Prepare reports on sales performance, market feedback, and business opportunities.
    • Work closely with production and logistics teams for timely deliveries.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Agriculture, Food Science, or related field.
    • 1–5 years of experience in agro-processing, FMCG, food and beverage, or spices market (preferred).
    • Proven field sales experience and strong negotiation skills.
    • Fluency in English and local languages is an added advantage.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
    • Strong understanding of consumer behavior and market dynamics.
    • Ability to identify new business channels and close sales successfully.
    • Persistence, confidence, and high emotional intelligence.
    • Ability to work independently and meet targets.
    • Good knowledge of digital marketing is an added advantage.
