    Marketing Manager

    JOB BRIEF

    If you live and breathe marketing, we need to talk. We’re looking for a flexible and versatile Marketer who will be responsible for the growth of the company at the same time build a solid career with us.

    The Marketing Manager responsibilities include tracking and analyzing the performance of advertising campaigns, managing the marketing budget and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity and ROI. To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience working in a Bank/Micro Financial and Money Lending Institution.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to our front door
    • Identify and develop highly promising virgin/uncongested territories within assigned region
    • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
    • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, performance analysis
    • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and social media handle that attracts and converts our target groups
    • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
    • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely
    • Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies
    • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
    • Present, demonstrate and promote the company products and services by using solid arguments to existing and prospective customer.
    • Establish, develop and maintain positive business relationships with existing and prospective customers.
    • Reach out to prospective customer leads through phone call and visitations.
    • Expedite the resolution of customer’ problems and complaints to related unit within 24hr to maximize satisfaction.
    • Achieve monthly sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
    • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
    • Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
    • Have information on daily/weekly/monthly volume and value transactions done by your team members.
    • Bring in  customers for both investment and loan
    • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
    • Deploy applicable promotional material to customer’s location to achieve better brand visibility.
    • Researching and analyzing market trends and competitors
    • Overseeing marketing campaigns.
    • Tracking effectiveness of marketing campaigns and reporting findings to the executive team.
    • Negotiating and liaising with third-party marketing agencies.
    • Writing and delivering content and social media plans.
    • Looking after the budget of the marketing department and making sure the budget spend is delivering a return on investment.
    • Managing the design and production of promotional materials, such as websites and brochures.
    • Oversee the company’s attendance at events, such as trade shows, conferences, etc.
    • Increase overall sales efficiency and profitability through excellent salesmanship
    • Stay up to date on company best practices, policies, products, pricing and promotions

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Demonstrable experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn
    • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
    • Solid knowledge of banking/Lending and  Investment  operational activities
    • Experience in marketing content creation for digital marketing/campaigns
    • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
    • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
    • Candidate must have strong Client data base portfolio.
    • BSc/MSc degree in Marketing or related field
    • 3-6 years working experience in a in Financial Sector-Bank/ Micro Finance and lending
    • Must be computer literate and strong presentation Skills
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and in writing)
    • People and customer management skills
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Creatively minded, good at thinking outside the box
    • Candidate  must be living within Ikorodu/Agric/Ibeshe or its Environs
