    Marketing Manager (Ad Sales and Sponsorships)

    Our client is a PR and Communications Agency. They also own/run a revolutionary technology website. 

    They currently have an opening for a Marketing Manager that will head and maintain relationships with media houses; negotiate and get better rates with media firms, close any media related deals for the PR and Digital Communications aspect of our client's agency. 

    The ideal candidate will also find sponsors and advertisers for our client's technology website. Must be driven and able to work with a sense of urgency, control the sales process and be able to learn new industries / trends quickly.

    Key Requirements

    • Opportunity Management: Ability to identify, manage and key into opportunities to develop clients identified in the run stage to walk and from walk to fly.
    • Capable of holistically approaching the digital marketplace, placing a keen eye towards the interplay between all marketing channels (online & offline). Strong digital background; working knowledge of Display, and Affiliate marketing will be an advantage.
    • Find sponsors and advertisers for our client's technology website; Get ads for the technology website. 
    • Drive and deliver on sales targets; Develop strong sales proposals that generate revenue for the company.
    • Grow & Strengthen Client Relationships: Act as a key point of contact for assigned clients. Grow, nurture and strengthen existing client relationships. Support Account Directors in creation, implementation and management of Account Planning meetings and development of Client Account Plans.
    • Passion to stay abreast of trends in the digital sector and disseminate information to clients/internal teams accordingly.

    Requirements

    • Experience: Minimum 4 years in Media Sales/Marketing Communications environment
    • Language: Excellent written and verbal command of English.
    • Industry: Previous experience in presenting and selling advertising to agencies and clients in the Digital / Communications space.
    • Communication: The candidate must be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to establish good relationships with internal and external contacts of all professional levels. The candidate must also have strong presentation skills and be able to captivate an audience or client. 
    • Skills: Account Management and Analytical essential.
    • Other: The candidate must be polished, intelligent, self motivated, creative, professional and pro-active. 
    • The successful incumbent will be a person who enjoys thinking creatively to meet client’s needs while enhancing our clients’ position.
