    Marketing and Communication Officer

    Job description

    • We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to develop and execute marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive engagement, and generate leads. 
    • This role involves managing digital campaigns, creating compelling content, overseeing social media platforms, and executing both digital and traditional marketing initiatives. 
    • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content creation, video editing, and marketing campaign management, particularly in the renewable energy sector, including solar energy solutions, UPS systems, and MEP services.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns across various platforms (website, social media, email newsletters, etc.) to drive engagement, lead generation and brand awareness.
    • Create, manage and optimize interactive social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling and reporting.
    • Create high-quality content that tells the company’s brand story, focusing on solar energy solution, UPS solutions and MEP services.
    • Create and share stories that resonate with target audiences, focusing on sustainability, renewable energy solutions, and innovation.
    • Write compelling copy for websites, blogs, newsletters, product brochures, press releases and other marketing collateral.
    • Ensure all content aligns with the company’s messaging, tone and target audience. Video Editing & Production:
    • Use video editing tools to produce engaging videos that highlight products, services and company initiatives.
    • Manage the video production process, from concept creation to final edit, ensuring high quality output that aligns with brand standards.
    • Plan and execute traditional marketing initiatives, including print advertising, direct mail, brochures, flyers and posters.
    • Oversee, plan and successfully execute exhibitions/marketing events, product launches, webinars, community outreach events and trade shows to increase brand visibility.
    • Work closely with the Web and IT Administrator to ensure the website is optimized for both content and user experience.
    • Help implement SEO strategies and maintain website content update
    • Assist in the creation of business proposals for clients and stakeholders. This includes writing, editing and ensuring proposals align with company capabilities, services and the needs of the client.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to craft compelling proposals that help secure new business and opportunities.
    • Provide input into bid documents and presentations.
    • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve. • Track and analyse digital marketing performance using analytics tools, providing regular reports on KPIs and recommending improvements.
    • Build relationships with media outlets, bloggers, and influencers to help amplify the company’s message.
    • Handle internal and external communications, including company announcements, updates, and PR campaigns.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in marketing, communications preferably within the renewable energy, technology or engineering sectors.
    • Strong proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, social media platforms, email marketing tools, etc.), content creation and video editing.
    • Excellent copywriting, editing and communication skills in English.
    • Proficient in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Capcut or similar).
    • Knowledge of SEO best practices and website management.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
