    Manager, Learning & Development

    Location: Ikeja, Lagos

    Summary of Responsibilities

    • Marketing and sales of learning and development offerings.
    • Managing learning and development delivery.
    • Generating new business and opportunities.
    • Support HR with learning and development solutions.

    Shall Be Responsible For The Following:

    • Facilitate the development and implementation of learning and development plans
    • Facilitate the sourcing of learning and development interventions/programmes to meet identified client needs
    • Provide overall guidance and direction in the execution of the unit’s functions and activities and provide approval where necessary
    • Facilitate the sourcing and evaluation of learning and development solutions along client’s developmental and business needs
    • Facilitate the scheduling and organisation of approved learning and management development programmes for various levels of employees and clients
    • Conduct and ensure proper documentation of post-training evaluations and assessment
    • Periodically assess efficiency and effectiveness of design/delivery of learning and development methodologies/techniques and evaluate impact of programs Determining the costs of planned programmes and keeping within budgets by assessing the return on investment of all training or development programmes
    • Ensuring that statutory and accreditation requirements are met.
    • Amending and revising programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes as required by clients and government policies.
    • Design and implement strategies for attracting new clients and retain existing clients.
    • Engage clients and manage relationships to ensure continuous retention.
    • Seek new business opportunities and develop strategies for clients’ engagements.
    • Think up ways to innovate and create new products/services.
    • Identify business opportunities, gaps and propose solutions to clients
    • Gather market intelligence and generating leads for possible sales
    • Design business models, develop propositions and campaigns.
    • Keeping up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant programmes.
    • Support HR by identifying knowledge and skills requirement and prepare training schedule accordingly for all employees
    • Carry out activities to determine the training/developmental needs of employees across the organisation and facilitate the subsequent development of comprehensive training plans to address identified needs
    • Organise corporate orientation/induction programs for new hires.

    • Work with other departments to ensure productivity and profitability
    • Strategic marketing of organisation’s services and products.

    • Carry out other tasks and duties as assigned.

    • Percentage of Budget Achievement
    • Percentage increase in Profitability
    • Percentage increase in Customer Base
    • Percentage of repeat Customers
    • Number of Training Content Developed
    • Quality of Training Content Developed
    • Number of Training Programmes organized
    • Customer Satisfaction Index

    Qualification and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA will be an added advantage.
    • Relevant certifications in Project Management (PMP), Business Analysis, IT and Business.
    • A minimum of five years’ work experience in same or similar role is essential.
    • Must be IT savvy and proficient especially in Microsoft Office.
