Legal Lead at Redeemers Health Village

Location: Redemption City / Mowe, Ogun

Job Summary 

• Redeemer’s Health Village Hospital is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Legal Lead to oversee all legal and regulatory matters of the hospital.
• The ideal candidate will play a strategic role in ensuring compliance, mitigating legal risks, and providing sound legal advice to support hospital operations and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory services to hospital management and the Board
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, labor laws, and statutory requirements
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, MOUs, service agreements, and vendor agreements
• Manage litigation, disputes, and liaise with external legal counsel
• Oversee corporate governance, policy development, and regulatory filings
• Advise on risk management, data protection, and patient confidentiality matters
• Support HR on employment-related legal issues and disciplinary processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); BL required
• Minimum of 2–5 years post-call experience, preferably in healthcare or corporate law.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance framework
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple legal matters with minimal supervision
• High ethical standards and strong attention to details.
