Legal Officer (Litigation)

Key Responsibilities
- Represent the Company in litigation matters and coordinate legal proceedings.
- Manage civil, commercial, and property-related disputes from inception to conclusion.
- Prepare court processes, legal opinions, pleadings, affidavits, and other litigation documents.
- Liaise with external counsel, courts, law enforcement agencies, and relevant government institutions.
- Provide legal advice on litigation risks and dispute resolution strategies.
- Monitor ongoing cases and ensure timely reporting and follow-up.
Requirements
- LL.B and B.L.
- Minimum of 3 years' post-call litigation experience.
- Demonstrable experience handling court proceedings and litigation matters.
- Strong advocacy, drafting, negotiation, and legal research skills.
- Sound knowledge of Nigerian civil procedure, property law, and dispute resolution.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases effectively.
