Job Details

The Legal Intern will have the following responsibilities:

• Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents and contracts.​
• Conduct legal research and provide summaries on relevant topics.​
• Support compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to financial regulations and internal policies.​
• Maintain and organize legal files and documentation.
• Support due diligence and risk assessment processes.
• Prepare presentations and briefing notes for legal updates.
• Write and compile minutes of legal and compliance meetings.
• Assist in preparing legal reports and correspondence.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of a Second-Class Upper degree in Law (LL.B).
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good research and legal writing skills.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience Level:

• 0–1 year of work experience in a legal capacity.
• Ideal for NYSC members or recent law graduates looking to gain experience in a financial services environment.
