Key Responsibilities

• Washing and drying linens: Cleans bed sheets, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry using industrial machines.
• Ironing and folding: Ensures all items are neatly pressed and properly folded.
• Sorting laundry: Separates items by color, fabric type, and level of dirt to avoid damage.
• Handling guest laundry: Processes guests’ clothing carefully and returns them on time.
• Maintaining laundry equipment: Operates and monitors machines, reporting faults when necessary.
• Ensuring cleanliness: Keeps the laundry area clean and organized at all times.

Daily Tasks:

• Collecting dirty linens from rooms or departments
• Washing, drying, and ironing items
• Folding and storing clean laundry
• Delivering fresh linens back to housekeeping
• Checking for stains or damages

Qualifications

• No formal education required (in most cases)
• Prior experience in laundry or housekeeping is an advantage
