Landscape Architect at Omar Gardens Floral Company

Responsibilities:

• Creating plans, designs and drawings using computer-aided design programs (Revit, AutoCad, sketchup, Lumion, Archgis, Coreldraw, Google earth map)
• Advising on matters to do with environmental conservation.
• Discussing requirements with clients
• Landscape planning
• Quote preparation, plant materials costing
• Writing technical reports
• Weekly visits to sites to take accurate measurements
• Monitoring the budget for each project
• Producing presentations to support sales team and customers Working closely with the Procurement Team to ensure products are specified and projects are delivered on time
• Presenting proposals to clients for approval and agreeing time-scales
• Liaise with fellow architects, project managers, engineers, and surveyors
• Overseeing projects as they progress
• Seeking the opinions of locals, business and others who use the site
• Attending project/proposal defense meeting with client.

Requirements;

• BSC/HND in Architecture or similar field. (M.Sc. is an added advantage)
• 5yrs proven background in Architectural design with a minimum of 3 years Landscape design.
• Ability to plan, design and drawing using computer-aided design programs (Revit, AutoCad, sketchup, Lumion, Archgis, Coreldraw, Google earth map).
• Research skills and inquisitive nature
• Ability to create and maintain project plans
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good Excel skills
• Ability to travel when required
