The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding relationships with strategic healthcare clients.
The role focuses on driving revenue growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and serving as the primary point of contact for key accounts such as hospitals, pharmacy chains, HMOs, distributors, and healthcare institutions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow relationships with key healthcare accounts, including hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and distributors.
Develop account plans to achieve sales targets and long-term business objectives.
Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and cross-sell products and services.
Serve as the main liaison between clients and internal teams (sales, operations, supply chain, finance).
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements in line with company policies.
Monitor account performance, sales trends, and market activities.
Ensure timely delivery of products and resolution of client issues.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
3–6 years experience in key account management, sales, or business development within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
Strong understanding of healthcare markets, procurement processes, and institutional sales.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
Experience with CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
