JOB SUMMARY
Kuhl-Cher is recruiting for FoodCo Nigeria Limited, a leading multichannel retail company, high-potential graduates for its Risk Control Leadership Development Program. This program provides hands-on exposure to operational, financial, and compliance risk management, developing future leaders capable of identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across retail, FMCG, and manufacturing operations.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and business-curious graduate eager to build a career in risk management. The ideal candidate demonstrates integrity, critical thinking, and resilience, thrives in a dynamic, multi-location environment, and enjoys working with data, processes, and people to proactively mitigate organizational risks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn to identify, assess, and mitigate operational and financial risks
- Assist in developing and implementing risk management policies and frameworks
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify process vulnerabilities
- Monitor compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
- Understudy risk managers to develop technical and soft skills
- Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and analyses for management decision-making
- Support incident investigations and recommend corrective actions
- Learn to evaluate emerging risks and propose proactive mitigation strategies
- Assist in designing and executing internal controls and process improvements
- Learn to use risk management software and tools
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum Second Class Upper / Upper Credit
- 0–2 years post-NYSC experience
- Maximum age: 27 years
- Added Advantage: Student membership of ICAN, ACCA, CFA, or IRM
TECHNICAL & ANALYTICAL SKILLS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret risk data and draw conclusions
- Familiarity with risk management, compliance, or internal control software is an advantage
