    Junior Legal and Compliance Counsel

    Role Overview

    • As the Junior Legal and Compliance Counsel, you will play an essential role in supporting the legal and compliance functions of KingMakers. You will assist in providing efficient legal counsel, ensuring compliance with applicable gaming laws and regulations, and promoting a culture of compliance within the company. This is an excellent opportunity for a budding legal professional to develop their skills in a fast-growing organization.

    What You Will Be Doing

    • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements.
    • Support the compliance team in monitoring regulatory changes and maintaining compliance with all gaming laws.
    • Conduct legal research and analyze regulations to ensure company policies reflect the latest legal standards.
    • Assist in preparing and submitting required reports and documentation to regulatory authorities.
    • Work closely with different departments to promote compliance and legal awareness across the organization.
    • Support in managing any disputes or legal inquiries that may arise.
    • Participate in the development and implementation of company policies and compliance programs.

    Requirements
    What You Need For This Role:

    • Law degree from a recognized institution.
    • At least 4 years of experience in a legal or compliance role, preferably within the gaming or financial services sectors.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements applicable to the gaming industry.
    • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research tools.
    • High level of integrity and ability to act ethically and responsibly.
    • Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
