Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Jackhammer Operator to join our team at our underground mining site. 
• The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience operating handheld drill rigs and jackhammers, particularly in underground environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate handheld jackhammers and pneumatic drilling equipment in underground environments.
• Drill holes in rock, concrete, or other hard surfaces.
• Assist in blasting preparations where necessary
• Maintain and inspect equipment before and after use to ensure it is in safe working condition.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating jackhammers and handheld drill rigs, preferably in underground environments.
• Good knowledge of drilling techniques and safety procedures
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy tools and working in confined spaces.
