Role Description

• The Sales Engineer will work closely with the sales team and clients to understand business needs, translate technical solutions into clear value propositions, and support the entire sales cycle.
• Daily activities include preparing and delivering product demonstrations, responding to technical inquiries, providing pre- and post-sales technical support, and assisting in proposal development and solution design.
• The role also involves engaging with customers on-site, gathering feedback for continuous improvement, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure solutions are feasible and aligned with client requirements.
• The Sales Engineer will maintain accurate records of client interactions, support customer training sessions, and contribute to meeting sales targets.

Skills & Specifications

• B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Strong knowledge of engineering products and systems within the Manufacturing and Oil & Gas sectors, including valves, pumps, compressors, pipelines, turbines, and automation.
• Solid understanding of industrial processes
• Strong capacity to recommend cost-effective and technically sound solutions based on client needs and operational challenges
• Familiarity with installation, maintenance, and lifecycle performance of industrial equipment
• Strong negotiation and commercial awareness (pricing, margins, contracts)
• Excellent client relationship management skills (especially with engineers, procurement teams, and decision-makers)
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with CRM tools, sales forecasting, and pipeline management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
