    Human Resources Officer

    About the Company

    • As we continue to scale, we are seeking a competent and hands-on HR Officer to manage our people operations, drive supervisor performance, and ensure smooth day-to-day HR activities.

    Role Overview

    • The HR Officer will be responsible for handling all HR functions and operations, with a strong focus on supervisor management, performance monitoring, and workforce coordination. This role is critical to ensuring that supervisors effectively manage agents, meet targets, and operate in line with company standards.

    Key Responsibilities
    HR Operations & Administration:

    • Handle end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, deployment, confirmation, and exit processes
    • Prepare and manage employment documentation (offer letters, contracts, warnings, termination letters, etc.)
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records for agents, supervisors, and office staff
    • Manage attendance, leave records, and staff schedules
    • Ensure proper filing, documentation, and HR reporting

    Recruitment & Workforce Planning:

    • Coordinate recruitment of sales agents, supervisors, and support staff as required
    • Support workforce planning to ensure adequate staffing across locations
    • Liaise with supervisors during agent onboarding and deployment

    Supervisor Management & Performance Management:

    • Directly manage and coordinate supervisors.
    • Set clear performance targets and KPIs for supervisors in line with company sales objectives
    • Monitor supervisor performance and ensure effective supervision of sales agents
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and follow-up sessions
    • Identify performance gaps and recommend training, redeployment, or disciplinary action where necessary

    Sales Agent Performance Oversight:

    • Ensure supervisors are properly tracking agent productivity and sales performance
    • Monitor compliance with daily sales reporting and operational guidelines
    • Support corrective action plans for underperforming agents through supervisors

    Employee Relations & Discipline:

    • Handle employee relations issues, grievances, and conflict resolution
    • Implement disciplinary procedures in line with company policy
    • Ensure fair, consistent, and documented handling of staff misconduct and performance issues

    Policy Development & Compliance:

    • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and codes of conduct
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable labour regulations
    • Educate supervisors and staff on HR policies and expectations

    Training & Development:

    • Identify training needs for supervisors and sales agents
    • Coordinate basic training, orientation, and performance coaching sessions
    • Support supervisors with people-management best practices

    Payroll & Compensation Support:

    • Support payroll preparation by validating attendance, performance data, and deductions
    • Ensure accurate communication of salaries, commissions, and incentives to staff
    • Assist management with compensation structure reviews for agents and supervisors

    Reporting & Management Support:

    • Prepare regular HR and performance reports for management
    • Provide insights on staff performance, turnover, and operational challenges
    • Support management in improving people processes and operational efficiency

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 3 years’ proven experience in an HR role (HR Generalist / HR Officer).
    • Strong experience managing field staff, supervisors, or sales teams is an added advantage
    • Good understanding of HR operations, performance management, and employee relations
    • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic HR reporting tools
