    Human Resources Manager; Restaurant Manager

    Location-  Ibadan

    Qualification: HND/ BSc / B.A/ B.Ed

    A reputable company in Ibadan is recruiting experienced Human Resources Managers and Restaurant Managers for immediate employment

    Responsibilities

    Restaurant Manager must

    • Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
    • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
    • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
    • Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
    • Organize and supervise shifts
    • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
    • Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
    • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
    • Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
    • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
    • Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role
    • Proven customer service experience as a manager

    Human Resources Manager must

    • Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
    • Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations
    • Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities
    • Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date
    • Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
    • Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations

    Skills and Competencies

    • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, labor relations, organizational development, business or related area; relevant work experience may be a substitute
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
    • Knowledgeof a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations
    • Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration and teamwork
    • Applicants must reside in Ibadan.
