    Human Resources Manager

    Job Summary

    • We are hiring an experienced HR Manager for our client, a manufacturing company with a sizable expatriate workforce.
    • The HR Manager will have extensive experience managing a diverse workforce, including expatriates, and must be highly skilled in high-volume recruitment in high-attrition environments, with strong emphasis on legal compliance and manufacturing standards.

    Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

    • Manage all HR aspects for a sizable expatriate workforce, including but not limited to visa/work permit processing, cultural integration, compensation packages, and compliance with home and host country labor laws and tax regulations.
    • Develop and execute aggressive recruitment strategies to address high-volume staffing needs and mitigate the impact of high attrition common in the manufacturing sector.
    • Manage performance management, compensation, benefits, and employee engagement initiatives.
    • Develop succession planning and career pathing programs to help reduce attrition and build a sustainable talent pipeline.
    • Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws (e.g., wage and hour, EEO, health & safety), and maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes.
    • Possess a very deep knowledge of manufacturing standards, practices, and operational requirements (e.g., safety protocols, quality management systems).
    • Design and deliver training programs focused on reinforcing manufacturing technical skills and safety compliance.

    Education, Qualifications, and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience with at least 4 years in a managerial role and in a manufacturing, industrial environment.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Proven track record in managing complex employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution.
    • Demonstrated experience managing talent acquisition for technical and skilled labor roles.
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to diagnose and resolve complex HR issues.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with a diverse, multilingual workforce and senior leadership.

    Behavioural Skills:

    • Self-motivation and self-driven.
    • Organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
    • Good interpersonal relationship.
