    Human Resources / Learning & Development (L&D) Manager

    Job Summary

    • The HR/L&D Manager for Prixair Training Center will be responsible for overseeing all training programs, talent development initiatives, and strategic facility rentals.
    • The center, equipped with state-of-the-art modern training facilities, is designed to offer both internal capacity building and commercial training room rentals and leasing services.
    • The manager is expected to deliver innovative training programs and aggressively market the facility for public use, with a set revenue target of ₦50 million per month.

    Key Responsibilities
    Learning & Development Functions:

    • Design and implement internal and external training programs for Prixair Group and its subsidiaries.
    • Develop competency-based training modules aligned with business goals.
    • Source and coordinate with subject matter experts, facilitators, and training consultants.
    • Conduct training needs assessments and evaluate training effectiveness.
    • Maintain training records and feedback reports for continuous improvement.

    Business Development / Revenue Generation:

    • Develop and implement strategic plans to lease out the training center facilities to corporate bodies, NGOs, SMEs, government institutions, and individuals.
    • Devise creative marketing campaigns (digital, print, B2B) to promote the center's availability for workshops, seminars, exams, and conferences.
    • Establish partnerships with HR consulting firms, event organizers, professional bodies, and educational institutions.
    • Organize open-house events, free demo sessions, or training previews to showcase the center’s offerings.

    Sales & Customer Engagement:

    • Achieve monthly revenue target of ₦50 million through training delivery and facility leasing.
    • Track and analyze leasing and training sales metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
    • Lead customer onboarding and engagement for every rental or program.
    • Ensure premium customer experience and repeat patronage.

    HR Management (Internal Center Operations):

    • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of training center staff.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and Prixair Group’s HR policies.
    • Handle internal HR operations for staff within the training center.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or MBA is an advantage).
    • HR Certification is a Must (CHRP,CIPM)
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in HR or Learning & Development, preferably in a corporate training environment.
    • Strong experience in sales, business development, and marketing of services.
    • Proficiency in training tools, e-learning platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Demonstrated experience in meeting financial targets or revenue KPIs.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

    • Partner with event planners to position the venue as the go-to for professional events.
    • List the training center on event booking platforms (e.g., Venuemobile, Eventful).
    • Advertise across HR communities and networks (e.g., CHRM, CIPM, HR Nigeria).
    • Offer flexible leasing options: hourly, daily, or weekly rentals with tiered pricing.
    • Host Prixair-branded trainings, masterclasses, and certification courses monthly.
    • Create early-bird discounts, loyalty rewards, and referral programs.
    • Run targeted digital ads on LinkedIn, Google, and Instagram focusing on professionals.
