HR and Personnel Manager at Afconrecruit Limited

Job Summary:

This role combines executive support,and human resource functions. The candidate will assist senior management in daily operations, ensure workplace safety compliance, and manage HR-related activities including recruitment, employee relations, documentation, government agency requirements, and expatriate visa processes, among other responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

HR / Personnel Management

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation
• Maintain and supervise employee records, attendance, and payroll coordination
• Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions
• Implement HR policies and ensure compliance with labour laws
• Support performance management and training initiatives
• Coordinate employee engagement activities
• Handle requirements and compliance with government agencies (LIRS, FIRS, NSITF, etc.)
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns (e.g., PAYE, Pension, Trust Fund, etc.)

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in a similar multi-functional role
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Good knowledge of labour laws and HSE regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
