    Hotel Male General Supervisor

    Description

    • A General Supervisor in a hotel is a mid-to-senior level role responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating staff, and ensuring guests receive high-quality service. Think of it as the link between frontline employees and upper management.
    • A General Supervisor in a hotel makes sure everything runs smoothly, staff do their jobs properly, and guests leave satisfied.

    Key Responsibilities
    A hotel General Supervisor typically:

    • Oversees daily operations: Ensures all departments (front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance) run smoothly.
    • Supervises staff: Monitors employee performance, assigns duties, and ensures proper conduct and professionalism.
    • Handles guest issues: Resolves complaints quickly and ensures guest satisfaction.
    • Ensures service quality: Maintains hotel standards, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
    • Coordinates departments: Acts as a communication bridge between different units of the hotel.
    • Supports management: Assists the General Manager or Operations Manager with reporting, scheduling, and planning.

    Typical Daily Tasks:

    • Conduct staff briefings or shift meetings
    • Monitor front desk and guest check-ins/check-outs
    • Inspect rooms and public areas
    • Respond to guest complaints or special requests
    • Ensure staff are following hotel policies
    • Prepare daily reports for managementv

    Qualifications

    • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management (often preferred)
    • Experience in hotel operations (usually 2–5+ years)
    • Prior supervisory experience is a big advantage
