    Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor

    Job Description

    • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after they are cleaned by the maid in order to ensure quality standards. Be in charge of preparing room availability reports, verifying their condition, determining the discrepancy in the availability of rooms, prioritizing the cleaning of the rooms, and updating the status of these of outgoing guests. Assist the Cleaning Department in managing daily activities. Act as a liaison in coordinating the efforts of the Department of Cleaning, Engineering, Reception Office and Laundry. Document and resolve with the Reception Counter the questions about the discrepancy in the rooms. Prepare,distribute and report changes made to allocation sheets or workboards. Communicate all questions to the next turn. Complete the required paperwork. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and employee training.
    • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Make sure that both the uniform and the personal appearance are neat and professional. Maintain the privacy of company-owned information; protect your assets. Support all coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect. Support the team to achieve common goals. Meet expectations and quality assurance standards. Move at a speed required to respond to work situations (eg, run, walk, run slowly). Visually read and verify information in various formats (eg small letters).Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (for example, to identify defects). Enter and locate work-related information using computers or point-of-sales systems. Grab, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination. Reach above the head and below the knees, including bending over, turning the waist, dragging and tilting. Move through narrow, confined or elevated spaces. Move on sloping, uneven or slippery surfaces and steps. Go up and down stairs and / or service ramps. Make continuous use of manual dexterity and motor skills frequently using both hands and fine motor functions. Move, lift,transport and place objects weighing 55 pounds (24.75 Kg) or less without assistance and more than 55 pounds (24.75 Kg) with assistance. Ability to push and drag a loaded maintenance trolley and other work related machines on sloping and uneven surfaces. Standing, sitting, kneeling, or walking for long periods or very often during the entire work shift. Listen and respond appropriately to the problems of other employees. Talk to other people using clear and professional language. Perform other reasonable work tasks requested by your supervisors.Ability to push and drag a loaded maintenance trolley and other work related machines on sloping and uneven surfaces.     DESIRABLE APTITUES

    • Education: Secondary school title or equivalent certificate of a General Education Development program
    • (General Educational Development, GED).
    • Related work experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
    • Experience as a supervisor: At least 1 year of experience as a supervisor.
