Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after they are cleaned by the maid in order to ensure quality standards. Be in charge of preparing room availability reports, verifying their condition, determining the discrepancy in the availability of rooms, prioritizing the cleaning of the rooms, and updating the status of these of outgoing guests. Assist the Cleaning Department in managing daily activities. Act as a liaison in coordinating the efforts of the Department of Cleaning, Engineering, Reception Office and Laundry. Document and resolve with the Reception Counter the questions about the discrepancy in the rooms. Prepare,distribute and report changes made to allocation sheets or workboards. Communicate all questions to the next turn. Complete the required paperwork. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and employee training.
