Role Summary

The Operations, Grants and Compliance Volunteer will support organizational systems related to grants management, donor compliance, policies, and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Support grants documentation and filing.
• Assist in tracking donor requirements and compliance checklists.
• Support development and review of operational policies and procedures.
• Assist with proposal development support tasks and donor communications.
• Support internal coordination and operational planning.
• Maintain organized records for audits and reviews.

Qualifications and Desired Skills

• Degree or background in Development Studies, Public Administration, Project Management, or related fields.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Interest in grants management, compliance, and NGO operations.
• Good writing and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge and ability to use computer applications, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite, is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Volunteer Engagement Terms

• This is a full-time voluntary, non-salaried position.
• Selected volunteers will receive orientation, mentorship, and practical work experience.
• Subject to availability of funds, selected volunteers will receive a meagre monthly stipend to support cost of daily transportation to work.
• Volunteers will be provided with recommendation letters upon successful completion of the volunteering period, subject to performance.
