Hotel Assistant Maintenance Officer at Efezi Southsea Nigeria Limited

Roles and Responsibilities
Routine Maintenance:

• Assist in carrying out daily inspection of hotel facilities such as rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas.
• Repair minor faults in plumbing, electrical fittings, doors, locks, furniture, and fixtures.

Preventive Maintenance:

• Support scheduled maintenance of equipment such as generators, air conditioners, water pumps, and lighting systems.
• Ensure maintenance checks are done regularly to avoid breakdown.

Fault Reporting and Repairs:

• Respond quickly to maintenance complaints from guests or staff.
• Identify faults and either repair them or report to the Maintenance Manager for major repairs.

Electrical and Plumbing Support:

• Assist in fixing electrical issues like bulbs, switches, sockets, and wiring.
• Handle minor plumbing repairs such as leaking taps, blocked drains, or toilet faults.

Equipment Monitoring:

• Monitor generators, inverters, water systems, and other hotel equipment.
• Ensure proper operation and report unusual noises or malfunctions.

Safety Compliance:

• Ensure maintenance work follows safety standards.
• Help maintain fire safety equipment and emergency systems.

Record Keeping:

• Keep records of maintenance activities, repairs done, and equipment serviced.

Support During Renovations:

• Assist during repair projects, painting, or renovation of hotel facilities.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a relevant qualification with 5 years experience.
