    Head, Retail Sales

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise the retail sales and relationship management activities to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to Individual investors.
    • Grow the Individual client numbers and market share.
    • Manage human resources in the group to increase value creation, business volume, and company profitability.
    • Oversee and ensure that the flow of clients’ transactions and investments portfolio is in accordance with each client’s mandate.
    • Deploy investment and wealth management solutions that can be scaled up on our digital platform and that adheres to the company’s guidelines and requirements for product disclosures.
    • Promote client education in wealth management, providing personal financial advisory services that enhance the value of investment decisions.
    • Review client profiles to ensure that their investments align with mandates, risk profiles, and risk appetites.
    • Promote the sales and services culture through coaching, guidance, and staff motivation.
    • As part of the company’s Information Security requirements, maintain the security of all Information entrusted to the staff and comply with the principles and policies in the Information Security Handbook

    Requirements

    • Minimum undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline
    • Preference for postgraduate business or related degree or other professional qualification.
    • Minimum of 7 years working experience in a reputable Banking or related Financial Services firm.
    • Previous experience in investment banking, asset management, or wealth management advisory.
    • Strong grasp of retail investments and Wealth Management products.
    • Understanding the Nigerian asset management and financial services sector in which the company competes.
    • Portfolio management, Wealth management and Strong Financial instruments knowledge
    • Demonstrated ethical conduct and adherence to industry regulations.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
    • Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining industry certifications.
