Head, Investment - External at Andersen

• Manage the Company’s investments in its subsidiaries and other asset classes by applying prudent financial and investment principles as approved by the Board of Directors.
• Lead and execute live capital raising for the Company.
• Develop and execute investment strategies for the Company, and monitor compliance and risks associated with the Company’s activities.
• Perform cash flow planning for the funds and investments across a multi-year timeframe to assist in strategic decision-making.
• Review portfolios and monitor compliance of the relevant subsidiary management teams and asset managers with approved business plans, investment policies, guidelines, and operating procedures.
• Ensure the Company’s portfolio meets the day-to-day and long-term liquidity needs of the Company.
• Develop and prepare investment reporting protocols, monitor, assess and report on performance measurements, in compliance with accepted industry standards, and prepare reports and presentations on the performance and risk exposures to the Management of the Board Investment Committee.
• Manage the Company’s business development drive and ensure proactive anticipation of market/customer needs; identify and develop new business ideas.
• Develop the investments team, responsible for staffing and strategy as well as the supervision and appraisal of the investments team and their deliverables.
• Perform all other duties as may be assigned by the Board of Directors.

JOB EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of master’s degree/ MBA in relevant field.
• 18+ years leadership experience working in investment banking, deals advisory or a similar environment; experience undertaking successful project and structured finance transactions and/or other long-term financing/PPP projects and/or Mergers and Acquisitions exposure will be an advantage.
• Appropriate post-graduate and/or professional qualifications such as MBA, CFA, M.Sc in Finance, ACA, ACCA.
• Experience in risk management to project and structured finance and/or cash flow.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in French Language will be an advantage.
