    Guest Service Attendant

    Job Description

    • We are looking for highly organized candidates with excellent people skills for the position of a guest service representative. Guest service representatives are responsible for providing front desk services to guests, undertaking various administrative duties, and diffusing conflict or tension in hotels, among other duties.

    Responsibilities

    • Greeting guests upon arrival and making them feel welcomed.
    • Administering check-ins and check-outs.
    • Providing front desk services to guests.
    • Assigning rooms and taking care of administrative duties.
    • Delivering mail and messages.
    • Processing guest payments.
    • Coordinating with bell service and staff management.
    • Being a source of information to guests on various matters such as transport and restaurant advice.
    • Processing meal and beverage requests.
    • Accommodating general and unique requests.
    • Diffusing conflict or tense situations with guests.

    Requirements, Skills and Qualifications

    • OND, NCE / B.Sc In any Hospitality or any relevant discipline
    • 2+ years of customer service experience.
    • Male preferably
    • Good- looking and attractive personality
    • Certificate or diploma in hospitality advantageous.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication.
    • Good time management and organizational skills.
    • Conflict resolution experience.
    • Patience and good listening skills. 
    • Computer knowledge: Basic knowledge of computers is required to check in guests, create invoices and manage online bookings
    • Communication: Officers are expected to use active listening skills to understand the individual needs of each customer and also use non-verbal skills to identify a guest's satisfaction or dissatisfaction with their stay
    • Customer service: Front desk Officers work with guests when checking in, checking out and when guests request information from the front desk.
    • Problem-solving: Guests will often come to the Hotel Front Desk Officer with problems. The ability to identify and overcome a problem is paramount for every Front Desk Officer.

    Salary
    N40,000 - N50,000 monthly.
