    General Manager

    Job Summary

    • Our client, an established brand in the retail and lifestyle sector, is seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead sales, marketing, and product development operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans that drive growth, expand market reach, and enhance organizational performance. This role requires a proactive leader who can drive teams, optimize processes, and deliver exceptional business outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve corporate goals.
    • ⁠Supervise and guide sales associates to ensure optimal productivity.
    • ⁠Plan and oversee advertising and promotional activities across print, digital, and electronic media.
    • ⁠Conduct and evaluate market research; adjust strategies in response to market and competitive shifts.
    • ⁠Monitor competitor products, promotions, and sales initiatives.
    • ⁠Build and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
    • ⁠Prepare and present marketing and sales activity reports to executive management.
    • ⁠Ensure consistent corporate branding across all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
    • ⁠Lead sales forecasting and set performance targets for the team.
    • ⁠Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to strengthen sales and marketing functions.
    • ⁠Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
    • ⁠Analyze and manage departmental expenditures to meet budget expectations.
    • ⁠Support other departments in preparing manuals and technical publications.
    • ⁠Prepare periodic sales reports detailing performance, potential opportunities, and market expansion areas.
    • ⁠Review sales performance against targets to determine program effectiveness.

    Requirements

    • 3–5 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, or general management.
    • ⁠Minimum of a First Degree; additional qualifications are an added advantage.
    • ⁠Strong computer literacy with excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • ⁠Highly motivated, target-driven, and able to demonstrate a proven track record of achieving results.
    • ⁠Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
    • ⁠Ability to develop and execute strategies that drive business growth.
