The Front Office Admin role at IDP Education Nigeria LTD is pivotal in delivering exemplary customer experience and supporting the operational efficiency of the Student Placement department. This position entails greeting visitors, managing telephone enquiries, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day activities at the front office. It requires a professional yet approachable demeanor to act as the first point of contact for candidates, partners, and internal teams.
In this role, you will coordinate appointments, handle documentation with precision, and facilitate communication between various departments, contributing to positive outcomes for students pursuing international education pathways. Your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and represent IDP’s values at the front desk will be critical in fostering a welcoming and efficient environment.

Key accountabilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, ensuring courteous and professional assistance at all times.
Manage inbound calls and email enquiries with attentiveness and efficiency, directing them to appropriate team members as necessary.
Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings for the student placement team, maintaining an organised calendar.
Maintain front office environment by ensuring cleanliness and orderliness at all times.
Assist with the preparation and management of student documents, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Support the customer care team in daily administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and record keeping.
Collaborate effectively with other departments to facilitate seamless communication and service delivery.
Implement and adhere to IDP’s compliance and confidentiality protocols relating to student information.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback from front-line interactions and suggesting process enhancements.
Uphold and promote IDP’s professional standards and customer service excellence in all interactions.
Required Experience
Previous experience in an administrative or front office role, ideally within customer care or education services.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting respectfully and clearly with a diverse range of customers and team members.
Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
Proficient in using standard office software including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with digital communication tools.
Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality handling sensitive information.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining an autonomous work ethic.
A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Basic knowledge of international education or student placement processes is advantageous but not essential.
Fluency in English required; proficiency in additional local languages is a plus.
A formal qualification in administration, customer service, or a related field will be considered beneficial.
