    Facility & Asset Manager

    Role Summary

    • The Senior Facilities & Asset Manager is responsible for the 24/7 operational integrity of the studio and its supporting infrastructure.
    • This role involves the end-to-end management of high-value broadcast gadgets, power systems, building fabric, vehicle fleets, and corporate assets.
    • The goal is to ensure a seamless "Live-on-Air" environment through proactive maintenance, strategic resource allocation, and rigorous asset lifecycle management.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain a comprehensive asset register of all studio equipment, including cameras, lighting rigs, sound consoles, and digital servers.
    • Implement a rigorous Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedule for specialized broadcast gadgets to minimize "on-air" failures.
    • Manage high-capacity power infrastructure, including generators, industrial UPS systems, and Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS).
    • Oversee specialized HVAC and precision cooling systems essential for server rooms and sound-insulated studio environments.
    • Supervise the structural upkeep of the facility, including soundproofing integrity, roofing, and civil works.
    • Monitor and maintain water supply systems, industrial pumps, and treatment plants.
    • Manage the inventory and repair of all office and studio furniture, ensuring ergonomic standards and set-design durability.
    • Coordinate janitorial services to maintain premium aesthetics in high-traffic studio and reception areas.
    • Negotiate and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with third-party vendors for diesel supply and technical repairs
    • Manage specialized insurance renewals for all high-value mobile and fixed assets
    • Ensure all statutory permits (Fire Service, environmental audits, state land charges) are up-to-date
    • Develop and manage the annual Facilities Opex and Capex budgets, focusing on cost-optimization without compromising broadcast quality.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc / HND (Engineering, Estate Management, Facilities Management)
    • Minimum 8 years Facilities Management experience with at least 3+ years in Media / Telecoms / Technical environmentand 2+ years in a managerial role
    • IFMA / NIQS Membership (Preferred).

    Benefits

    • Salary: N500,000 - N700,000 / month
