    Event and Marketing Manager (Regional Focus)

    Key Responsibilities:

    Event Planning and Management:

    • Develop, plan, and execute events, including conferences, trade shows, product launches, and internal gatherings, across local and regional markets.
    • Manage all aspects of event logistics, including budgeting, vendor negotiations, venue selection, and attendee coordination.
    • Ensure events meet organizational standards and create positive brand impressions.
    • Oversee event registration, on-site management, and post-event evaluation to identify areas for improvement.

    Marketing Coordination:

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement campaigns that support event goals.
    • Develop promotional materials, manage social media campaigns, and coordinate email marketing efforts.
    • Ensure brand consistency across all event-related marketing materials.
    • Analyze the effectiveness of marketing strategies and provide data-driven recommendations.

    Regional Focus:

    • Tailor events and marketing strategies to suit local and regional preferences across West Africa.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of cultural, market, and regulatory nuances in the region.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with local partners, vendors, and stakeholders.

    Project Management:

    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
    • Maintain detailed project plans and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
    • Work cross-functionally to ensure all departments are aligned and supportive of event objectives.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in event planning and marketing, preferably in a regional capacity.
    • Strong understanding of event logistics and marketing principles.
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Proficiency in event management tools and marketing software.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Willingness to travel locally and regionally as required.
