    Employee Services Officer

    Role Summary

    • The Employee Services Officer provides efficient HR operational support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate documentation, payroll input coordination, benefits administration, compliance, and responsive employee support within a fast-paced logistics environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage onboarding, confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exit documentation.
    • Maintain accurate HRIS and personnel records (digital and physical files).
    • Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR enquiries and policy clarification.
    • Support grievance and disciplinary process documentation.
    • Collate and validate payroll inputs, including allowances, overtime, and deductions.
    • Administer employee benefits (pension, HMO, call/data allowance, fuel allowance, ad-hoc payroll).
    • Monitor leave records and attendance reports, escalating discrepancies.
    • Ensure statutory compliance and support HR audits.
    • Generate periodic HR reports (headcount, attrition, leave, payroll summaries).
    • Coordinate employee welfare and engagement initiatives.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Accuracy of employee documentation and payroll inputs.
    • Timely resolution of employee queries.
    • Compliance with statutory and company HR policies.
    • Data accuracy in HR reporting.
    • Employee satisfaction with HR service delivery.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 2–4 years HR operations experience (logistics or high-volume workforce preferred).
    • Knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and statutory compliance.
    • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organisational skills.
