    Electrical Graduate Engineer Trainee

    Job Summary

    • The Electrical Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) will undergo structured training and practical exposure in electrical engineering operations, maintenance, and project support within an industrial/mining environment. The role is designed to develop technical competence in electrical systems, safety compliance, and plant reliability.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in the operation, inspection, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
    • Support troubleshooting of electrical faults in motors, switchgear, control panels, and power distribution systems.
    • Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure plant uptime.
    • Work with senior engineers on installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
    • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and company policies.
    • Support documentation of maintenance records, reports, and technical drawings.
    • Assist in monitoring energy consumption and recommending efficiency improvements.
    • Attend training programs to build competency in industrial electrical engineering practices.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
    • Recent graduate or 0–3 years of experience.
    • Preferably a First Class Graduate.
    • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and industrial controls.
    • Familiarity with motors, transformers, PLC basics, and switchgear is an advantage.
    • Strong willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
