Job Description

We are looking to employ teachers with an outstanding track record of teaching secondary school students for the following subjects

Primary Responsibilities

1. Compose lesson plans in order to successfully incorporate the full duration of each lesson.
2. Execute lessons efficiently using different styles of teaching depending on the content.
3. Engage students to ensure a lively classroom atmosphere.
4. Instruct students about the structure and content of the subject.
5. Teach students to think critically and develop their mental capabilities

Qualifications

1. Must have, at least, 3 years’ experience in preparing students for the following examinations; IGCSE, Checkpoint, WAEC, JAMB and so on.
2. BEd or BSc in a relevant discipline with a PDGE (TRCN Certificate is an added advantage)
3. Must be passionate about teaching and working with students with high-level commitment and integrity.
4. Must be Computer literate with the ability to use virtual classroom applications, Google for Education, Microsoft Packages like PowerPoint, MS-Word, MS-Excel, and the use of computer in teaching, etc.
5. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be a team player.
6. Must display teaching dynamism of the 21st-century learning skills.
7. Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a classroom.
8. Candidates must possess excellent written and spoken English language skills.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
10. High level of professionalism,
11. Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities, 
12. Respect for all members of the school community, and a positive and solution-focused attitude to working life. 
13. They must also have a clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
