    Director of Administration

    • Faith Mediplex Teaching Hospital in Benin City, Edo State, a faith based Christian facility is seeking a highly qualified Director of Administration (DA) to provide strategic oversight and operational leadership.
    • The ideal candidate will be an experienced administrator with a strong background in people management, healthcare or institutional management, ensuring operational excellence, and patient-centered service delivery.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Oversee all administrative and non-clinical operations to optimize efficiency and service delivery.
    • Develop and implement policies that enhance organizational performance and patient care. • Lead human resources functions, including recruitment, training, staff development, and performance management.
    • Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements.
    • Supervise hospital infrastructure, procurement, and facility management to uphold high standards.
    • Drive the integration of technology to enhance hospital administration and service transformation. • Act as the liaison with government agencies, regulatory bodies, vendors, and external stakeholders.
    • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and resource management for sustainable hospita! operations.
    • Lead crisis and risk management strategies to ensure organizational resilience.

    Additional Requirements

    • Proficiency in English; fluency in additional languages is an advantage.
    • Proven track record of leading successful projects and administrative reforms.
    • Strong understanding of Nigerian healthcare regulations and best practices.

    Key Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Arts or Social Sciences (a degree in Hospital administration with practical experience would be an added advantage).
    • A Master's degree (MBA, MHA, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 15 years of administrative experience, with at least 5 years in senior management.
    • Experience in hospital administration or healthcare management is an added advantage.
