Decoration Manager at Natafamdaivid Consulting Nig. Ltd

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of decoration concepts for various events (e.g., weddings, corporate events, birthdays, brand activations).
• Consult with clients to understand their event vision, preferences, and budget.
• Create mood boards, sketches, and visual presentations to communicate design ideas.
• Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and artisans.
• Oversee the production and installation of decorative elements, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
• Manage and allocate decoration budgets efficiently.
• Conduct site visits and supervise on-site decoration setup and takedown.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during decoration installations.
• Train, schedule, and coordinate the decoration team and support staff.
• Keep up with trends in event design, décor materials, and technology.
• Maintain an inventory of decoration materials and ensure proper storage and maintenance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Event Management, Interior Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience in event decoration or creative production.
• Strong creative and artistic skills with a good eye for color, detail, and space.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively under pressure.
• Knowledge of floral arrangements, props, lighting, fabrics, and event staging.
• Familiarity with design software (e.g., CorelDraw, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite) is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and long hours as event schedules demand.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and move around for long periods.
• Capability to lift, carry, and assemble decorative elements and structures.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varied conditions.
