    Our Jinja platform is a growth partner for agri-businesses. We offer agile technology, access to capital, and valuable extension services for all in the value chain to achieve exponential growth. Ultimately, we aim to democratise access to the food value chain to crowd in more value and achieve self-sufficiency in food production across the continent.

    Our products and services benefit farmers, aggregators, food processors, logistics providers, and more across the food chain.

    We are driven by UN SDG impactful and sutainable goals - 2 (Zero hunger), 8 (Economic growth), and 12 (Sustainable consumption and production)

    What we're looking for

    A unique opportunity for an entrepreneur who is keen to drive a business with many moving parts and very big ambitions. We are looking for an experienced executive who will handle multiple functions for Isidore at this key phase of establishing the startup and making our brand visible. Currently, our top priorities for the candidates are to oversee Operations, Finance & Investment and Expansion.

    As we evolve quickly, we would expect the ideal candidate to do so accordingly with the scope of their work. You will work across different parts of Nigeria - the role is remote for the most part, but includes travel to multiple states in the early stages.

    Responsibilities

    Team management & Operations

    • Work with CEO to create and drive the vision of the company, the operational strategy and bridging the gap between company goals and achievements

    • Create and execute on internal processes for all of our key service offerings across all business units, in all geographies

    • Goal setting with team leads and coordination to ensure delivery

    • Create standard operating models and policies for the company to ensure that process flows are established and cascade down across all levels

    • Plan and manage budgets and resources for the entire team

    Finance/Investment

    • Create and successfully implement robust financial models for the business with outlooks over the short, medium and long term

    • Direct all finance and accounting activities for the company, overseeing finance manager, accounting, and treasury functions

    • Own and manage the financial health of the entire business

    • Analyse potential investments and make sound data-driven decisions on the best fits for the company

    • Engage with investors and build confidence in the company and create attractiveness in both debt and capital markets

    • Evaluate corporate development investments and M&A opportunities

    Partnerships & Expansion

    • Establish objective, scalable framework for go/no-go decisions on projects, partnerships

    • Conduct diligence and negotiations, create detailed proposals for CEO review and approval and draft terms for conclusion

    • Lead evaluation of go-to market entry decisions on new markets and service lines

    • Drive new market expansion successfully with team and operations setup for steady execution

    • Coordinate International Expansion efforts

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience as Operating Executive in a high growth company or relevant role

    • Demonstrated experience achieving key financial and business objectives

    • Strong understanding of various business functions such as Finance, Operations, Business Development, and Expansion

    • Demonstrated competency in strategic planning and business development

    • Solid experience in finance, investments, and numeric accuracy is required

    • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities

    • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills

    • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving

    • Ability to autonomously manage simultaneous projects in a fast paced, digital, remote business environment
