Job Duties/Description
- Developing the voice for all aspects of the organisation's online presence (website, social media, etc).
- Writing of product descriptions, specifications and allergies
- Proofreading and editing all contents provided before posting by developers.
- Maintaining site standards concerning new development with the technical team
- Crafting site & banner promotions passed on to him/her by the project manager
- Creating email newsletters with the use of existing templates, and online outreach campaigns (social media).
Qualifications and Key Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree in English Language, Technical Writing, or any related field.
- Communication skills – verbal & written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Skills:
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills
- Intermediate knowledge of HTML
- Experience with content management system (Magento) is a plus to getting this role.
- Basic Adobe Photoshop and MailChimp skills
- Proven ability to work within a cross-departmental team
